Boulder gang and rock solid!!!

Next week on Tuesday 3rd July boulder gang and rock solid have a super hero theme day!!!! The leaders surely cannot wait for this as everyone needs to come dressed up as a super hero, whether from a comic book like superman and spiderman, or you can make one up like dancing girl or chatter boy.

Two of the leaders would like to dress up as the ghost busters but whether that happens or not you will just have to wait and see

Paul and Elaine

I am very said to say that tonight on the 26/06/12 it is going to be Paul and Elaines last ever Refresh. It will be a sad time to see them go and I know that they will be thoroughly missed by everyone from Refresh and Grafted.

Lets give them a big hug tonight and never let them go ha ha ha xx



 

Spree 2012

This year at Spree was amazing!! Refresh took approx. 50 young people with us to spree and for the majority it was their first time.  It was wet, rainiing with plenty of midges, what more could you ask for?  Well one thing we didn't ask for was for the marquee where the girls were sleeping to leak......but it did

Not to worry though, someone borrowed us their tent and on the second night it was nice, dry and warm.....with plenty of midges. 

Lets just say, we cannot wait for next year :D

Monday 12th December was a special stepping stones afternoon as it was the cre8 for Christmas day. In total we had 7 toddlers with two younger ones there as well. The stepping stones group made some fantastic crafts and they all took part in the telling of the Christmas story. They also got a special gift to take home with them as well.

All the mothers and carers also hade fun chatting and making their own crafts as well. I hope they all have a very merry christmas

REFRESH CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!!!!!

Tuesday 13th December Refresh communty church had a christmas party!!! It was such a fab night and many people turned up to have a bring and share meal and many chirstmas games. Everyone also brought a secret santa pressie worth £1. A very special christmas elf came around with the bag of presents and handed them out as santa couldn't be there ha ha ha.

A huge thank you to everyone who made it down as we had a wonderful night and it couldn't have been done without all of you xx

what a year

Hello everyone. What a fab first few months I've had with the grafted project. I've done the year out with grafted this year and its allowed me to experience all aspects of the projected and allowed me to see God at work in all sorts of ways.

Cant wait to see what the new year has in store for me.

On the 14th December it was that time again for the day out for the Grafted Christmas meal except this year we done it a bit different!!!!

This year we decided to go bowling and then for a lunch time meal. Everyone seemed to have a fab time from bowling, winning surfs, secret santa presents and such an amazing meal, to me the day couldn't get any better. Three of the lads dressed up in santa outfits, can you guess who they are???
